Get into Karting with Rookie Racing

Fulbeck Kart Club:

Open to all novices and beginners (no license needed), upon arrival, if hiring a kart, please head to the Rookie Racing HQ to get the kart set up, if you are an owner driver, please head to Fulbeck Race Control to register your attendance. A track walk will then take place, followed by an explanation of the order of day. 

Groups will be placed in the following grids: Bambino Beginner, Bambino Advanced, Cadet Beginners, Cadet Advanced and Mini's/Juniors (each class will be mixed with a variety of engines, however we aim to fill each group with similar experience).

In the morning, there are 3 practice sessions where the Rookie Racing coaches will provide tips and advice to help develop the drivers skills and ensure each driver understands and follows the necessary safety protocols. 

Following the practice sessions, in the afternoon, the first heat is randomly split and then the second heat is inverted from the first. Results from both heats will determine starting position for the final. All drivers will be awarded a medal with the top 3 in each class winning a trophy (please note, Mini's/Juniors do not race on the Saturday and therefore will nor participate in a final).

Additional Costs:

• Transponder for live timing £10.00 a day 

If you are wanting to race on the Sunday - All entrants on Sunday will need to take the Arks test on Saturday. Once you pass this, you can enter Motorsport UK events at any tracks. Any novices who already hold a Motorsport UK license DO NOT need to re-take the test, it is only for people who don't currently hold a Motorsport UK license.

Arks test packs can be ordered through the Rookie racing website or purchased direct from Motorsport UK

Once you have purchased your pack there is a test fee of £99.00 to pay.

PF International Kart Circuit:

A track walk will then take place, followed by an explanation of the order of day. 

Groups will be placed in the following grids: Bambino, Cadet and Mini's/Juniors (each class will be mixed with a variety of engines, however we aim to fill each group with similar experience).

Each practice session will be followed by a Rookie Racing coach providing tips and advice to help develop the drivers skills and ensure each driver understands and follows the necessary safety protocols.
